Ky Lua market convenes six time every month on the 2nd, 12th, 22nd, 7th, 17th and 27th day of lunar calendar, to sell special products of almost provinces in the country. Market-goers sometimes go to the market for a mere purpose of seeing and meeting people, of discussing business. Young people of various ethnic minorities go to the market to meet buddies, to seek prospect husband or wife through the love songs exchanged between boys and girls, or to put more general, to seek some thing to which they can identify themselves to. At market, products and clothes in a variety of colors, woven from cotton by ethnic people, are on display in harmony with food rich of flavor of the mountainous country of Lang. A festivity-fair is organized once a year in Ky Lua, which lasts from the 22nd to 27th day of January of lunar calendar. Today, Ky Lua market was given a face-lift and open day and night. Visitors to Lang Son cannot help but be impressed with cool and pure air of this mountainous border region and the view of market-goers at night-time.
